Hello, In multiple block major arteries, blocks like LAD (Left Anterior Descending) arteries are resolved first. If remaining vessel blockage is not significant clinically it can be handled conservatively. Your father's chest pain will settle gradually. Consider cardiac rehabilitation post-surgery after consulting your cardiologist. Hope our answer helps you. You can refer our page to connect with experts, let us know if your locality is different - Cardiac Rehabilitation doctors in Delhi.

Hello Tracy, Since you have not mentioned the stage of the cancer, we will list down the cancer treatment by stage. Generally, people who have colon cancers that has not spread to different parts, usually have surgery as the first line treatment. Chemotherapy can also be given along with surgery:

  1. Stage 0 colon cancer In stage 0, colon cancer is in the inner lining of the colon. Generally, surgery is given as the only treatment.
  2. Stage I colon cancer In stage I colon cancer, the cancer has grown deep in the layers of the colon wall but not outside the colon wall. The standard treatment for this stage is surgery. You will not require any other treatment.
  3. Stage II colon cancer In stage II colon cancer, the cancer has grown through the wall of the colon and maybe into nearby tissues. Surgery is done to remove the part of the colon that contains cancer along with nearby lymph nodes. Your doctor may advice you, adjuvant chemotherapy (chemotherapy given after surgery).
  4. Stage III colon cancer In stage III colon cancer, the cancer has spread to the nearby lymph nodes but not in any other parts of the body. The standard treatment used at this stage is surgery combined with chemotherapy. The surgery is done to remove the part of the colon having cancer along with the nearby lymph nodes followed by the adjuvant chemotherapy.
  5. Radiation therapy or chemotherapy may be the options available for the people who are not healthy enough to get the surgery done. Stage IV colon cancer In stage IV colon cancer, the cancer has spread to other parts of the organ and tissues. Generally, it spreads to the liver, but it may spread to other parts like lungs, brain or distant lymph nodes.

In most of the cases, only surgery is unable to cure the cancer. Surgery is done to remove the part of the colon that has cancer. Also, surgery is done to remove the areas that has spread in other parts. Chemotherapy is given before and after the surgery. If the cancer has spread too much, chemotherapy is the main treatment. Hope this answer helps you. You can take opinions from other oncologists too - Best Oncologist In India.

Hi, I have done my hair transplant 2 days before, I just want to know that how long the grafts will remain secure after the transplant?

Answered on 1st Aug '21

Hi Mahesh, Your grafts will remain secured for 2 to 3 weeks if you take proper care. Later, the grafts will shed as only then the new hair will grow. Also, the hair transplant will remain permanent if you take precautions like: 1. Wear a cap to avoid direct exposure to sunlight. 2. Don't bath under the shower. 3. Massage your head gently and not vigorously. 4. If you smoke or consume alcohol, kindly stop it till the treatment is completed. 5. Avoid stressful exercises. Hope our answer helps you.

Hi, I'm planning to go with the FUT treatment but just tell me how noticeable the scar will be after the procedure?

Answered on 1st Aug '21

Hello, In the initial stage, the visibility of the scar will be more because the head will be completely shaven. Later, when you get your fully grown hair after 12 months, the hair will cover the scar but yes the scar will not be fully covered. We would suggest you undergo FUE hair transplant as it is the most advanced technique today and also a no scar treatment. In FUE, the hair transplant surgeon will extract the hair from the donor area using the neograft tool and will implant the hair grafts with a small needle. FUE might cost you more than FUT treatment but it is a painless treatment, no stitches, no scars and also the recovery is faster. Our blog goes into more depth and details while explaining this procedure - FUT Hair Transplant. Hope our answer helps you. Hello Saba, The negative EGFR report means that the lung cancer tumor cells do not have the mutation. You will have to go to a medical oncologist for the treatment who may go for targeted therapies like chemotherapy. You can find the best cancer treatment where you can get chemotherapy or any other targeted therapy in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Bangalore in India. Some of the best hospitals are:

Hello, Sorry, but androgenetic alopecia is not curable. But thankfully there are drugs which are safe and can delay the occurrence of the condition, that is thinning and shedding of hair for many years. Also, there are surgical treatments like FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) which can help you to bring back your natural hair. But before moving forward you should consult the dermatologist and get to know whether you can get hair transplantation done or not. Hope our answer helps you.
